After traveling down 101 along the Pacific coast, the Black Walnut Inn is a completely different experience, and a welcomed one. It is truly a transposed piece of Tuscany. We stayed in room 3 beginning on 29 June and were captivated by the sweeping beauty of the vista. Cool breezes blow across the higher elevation of the Inn. Taking gentle walks around the vineyard are inspiring. Breakfasts are creatively prepared. The room amenities are top shelf. Chelsea and Meghan were wonderful hosts. Yes, The Black Walnut Inn is expensive but well worth the money.
This summer we welcome guests to our Chef Dinner series, a new immersive culinary experience from Chef Chase Williams and the Black Walnut team. Journey from kitchen to table to patio in an intimate evening created exclusively for guests of the Inn. The eight-course menu builds from small bites into fully composed dishes curated to showcase the hyper-seasonal bounty of our local farms. Savor exquisitely paired international and local wines selected for the inspiration they provide in our menu creation. Thoughtful details will delight throughout the evening, culminating with a fireside dessert course shared together on our patio overlooking the lush valley below.
