Hospitality at its Best!

Every area of the inn was top notch from the lovely exterior of the nine room Tuscany style mansion to the interior decorations which my wife truly loved. The living room area with fireplace and grand piano is such a welcoming space to have a nice glass of Pinot Noir from the valley while the outside patio with heaters, cornhole boards, music, and chairs make for an outstanding place to enjoy the property during your stay as well.

Welcoming Guests to Black Walnut

Our rural setting and open spaces mean that our area has been fortunate to avoid the worst of the current health crisis. As part of our ongoing safety procedures, we have partnered with Enviral Tech to implement periodic surface testing scans to confirm our spaces are safe for our guests and our team. Our most recent testing in mid-July confirmed surfaces throughout the inn are free of the COVID-19 virus, consistent with our previous tests results. As another precaution we are also performing ongoing surveillance testing among our Inn staff. We’ve adjusted certain elements of your visit while ensuring you will continue to receive our customary warm, attentive service. Reach out to us by telephone or email and we will be happy to answer any questions about our current practices.

No need to go to Tuscany!

After traveling down 101 along the Pacific coast, the Black Walnut Inn is a completely different experience, and a welcomed one. It is truly a transposed piece of Tuscany. We stayed in room 3 beginning on 29 June and were captivated by the sweeping beauty of the vista. Cool breezes blow across the higher elevation of the Inn. Taking gentle walks around the vineyard are inspiring. Breakfasts are creatively prepared. The room amenities are top shelf. Chelsea and Meghan were wonderful hosts. Yes, The Black Walnut Inn is expensive but well worth the money.
